Artists Call
Join us in celebrating African American Joy and commemorating Juneteenth through the power of art! We are looking for talented artists to create vibrant and inspiring pieces that showcase the rich tapestry, joy, and landscapes within the African-American community.
As we reflect on the significance of Juneteenth, a day that symbolizes freedom and liberation over oppression, we aim to amplify the voices and experiences of African Americans through artistic expression. It is an opportunity to highlight the community's resilience, strength, and achievements while fostering unity and cultural appreciation. All selected artworks will be presented in an exclusive auction to raise funds for a local community center. Artists will be eligible to receive 50% of the sales, while a portion of the remaining proceeds will be allocated to support Arts Tech.

Artists Benefits
Exposure - Recognition - Promotion
Competition is fierce; Selected artwork will be showcased at the Roaring 20 Gallery Event Space and The Bunker Center for the Arts. But that's not all. The top 15 selected artworks will be up for auction, with fifty percent of the proceeds going to the support of Art Tech Community Center.
Selection Process
All artists are invited to participate. A panel of esteemed artists and community members will review all submissions and select diverse artworks that best embody the theme and capture the essence of African-American joy. Selected artists will be notified via email by April 29, 2024.
